The actors of the daqXML model are :

• Users : entities accessing the system at a control station in order to perform actions. users can be actual persons or other processes

• Developer : creates the measurement

• Station Manager : operator in charge of the maintenance of the station and associated instrumentation

• Operators: operators in charge of the operations and maintenace of a control station.

• Data Manager :

• System administrator : the person in charge of the main system, in particular concerning access andsecurity.

• Instrument : the actual instrument performing a measurement of one or more physical quantities.
